About The Author
Dr. Banks is the founder of Dr. Lesia M. Banks Enterprises, LLC. She focuses on career, doctoral dissertation, and small business development coaching. She is a thought partner and consultant in organizational leadership theories and practical implementation. She is also a certified Global Career Development Facilitator. The author has over 27 years of federal government experience including leading diverse staffs and managing multi-million dollar budgets. Dr. Banks serves as a Coach for President Obama's Youth CareerConnect initiative and provides technical assistance to school systems in New York, Ohio, and Massachusetts, in six core program areas: Integrated Academic and Career-Focused Learning, Employer Engagement, Individualized Career and Academic Counseling, Work-Based Learning and Exposure to the World of Work, Sustainability and Performance and Outcomes.
