)-- The Editors’ Lounge returns on Friday, January 19th with an evening dedicated to solutions for editing plugins, storage and media management. Boris FX|Sapphire, Glookast and G-Technology will be giving hands-on demonstrations of all the latest tools for post-production professionals. Boris FX Product Specialist, Mary Poplin, will be showing the latest Boris Continuum and Sapphire tools for Avid, and Premiere Pro editors, including the new Continuum Primatte chroma-keyer and Mocha integration inside popular Sapphire tools. Attendees will learn how to automatically key green/blue screens and adjust lighting to correct unevenly lit screens delivering a perfect key with a single color sample. Demonstrations will be given on how Sapphire Builder and Lens Flare Designer can allow for more control over creative storytelling with just a few clicks of the mouse. Creating complex shapes in Avid Media Composer, rotoscoping in half the time and creating automated garbage masks for witness protection are now all available in Mocha inside the Continuum and Sapphire suites.
The Editors’ Lounge offers the opportunity to learn from post-production industry peers and networking with new and old friends.
