Amazon Wins i4cp's 2018 High-Performance Award

Amazon recognized for demonstrating outstanding achievement as a high-performance organization.

Scottsdale, AZ, March 28, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Amazon was awarded the Institute for Corporate Productivity's (i4cp) 2018 High-Performance Award last night at the i4cp 2018 Conference: Next Practices Now. The award is presented annually to an i4cp member company that has demonstrated outstanding achievement as a high-performance organization.

Trina Soske, Vice President of Global Learning & Development, accepted the award on behalf of Amazon, a longtime member of i4cp’s network of world-class organizations.

Amazon has seen its share price triple over the last two years and continues to be a disruptive force across a variety of industries. Amazon’s impact on the evolution of traditional retail models is well known, and its entry into new sectors such as groceries—or even anticipated expansion into prescription medicine and healthcare—can effect excitement on the part of consumers as well as consternation among previously non-competitive organizations and their shareholders. The company’s continued innovation in voice technology and web services contributes to its growth.

Seattle-based Amazon also continues to innovate with its people programs. One notable achievement is the deployment of “accelerator sessions” for emerging leaders to rapidly expand knowledge, skills, and capabilities.

The Institute for Corporate Productivity (i4cp) is a membership research firm focused on discovering next practices in human capital.

Each year, i4cp recognizes companies that are exceptional in the field of human resources and related functions. Next year's conference will be held March 11-14, 2019 in Scottsdale, Arizona.
