Inspiration at the 2018 IH+H Show for TFI Envision

TFI Envision is inspired by a recent visit to the 2018 International Home + Housewares Show.

Chicago, IL, April 04, 2018 --( The 2018 International Home + Housewares Show sold out in late December 2017, more than 10 weeks before opening day, according to the International Housewares Association, the Show’s owner and operator.

The Show began at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 10 and closed at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13, 2018. The Show hosted more than 2,100 exhibitors from around the world, including 400 new companies exhibiting for the first time.

Elizabeth P. Ball, President | Creative Director and Mary Ellen Butkus, VP, of TFI Envision, Inc. took the opportunity to attend the show again this year. “We love this show. It is visually stunning with a wide range of companies and their offerings. It gives us a chance to meet with some of our clients and learn what’s new in this exciting industry - from color and technology trends to how companies are packaging and marketing their brands,” said Ball.

The Show continued its emphasis on the smart home and connected products by expanding the IHA Smart Home Pavilion to more than 25 exhibitors presenting the future of housewares, and offering increased education and networking opportunities.

PANTONE®, known worldwide as the standard language for color communication from designer to manufacturer to retailer to customer, provided a richly decorated display of the color trends, including the 2018 Pantone® Color of the Year: Ultra Violet 18-3838. According to Pantone®, the depth of PANTONE 18-3838 Ultra Violet symbolizes experimentation and non-conformity, spurring individuals to imagine their unique mark on the world, and push boundaries through creative outlets.*

Global housewares spending rose to $355.4 billion, an increase of 2.4 percent, in 2016 the most recent available statistics, according to IHA’s 2017 State of the Industry Report. In the U.S. alone, housewares expenditures increased 6.0 percent to $87.1 billion.
