Blackmagic Design announced DaVinci Resolve 15 at NAB 2018 and will give demonstrations of the massive updates that fully integrates visual effects and motion graphics, making it the world’s first solution to combine professional offline and online editing, color correction, audio post-production, multi user collaboration and now visual effects, together in one software tool.

DaVinci Resolve 15 has added an entirely new Fusion page with over 250 tools for compositing, paint particles, animated titles and more. Fusion is the world’s most advanced 2D and 3D compositing VR and motion graphics software featuring a massive toolset with paint, rotoscope, titling, animation, keying, 3D particles, support for import and rendering 3D models, plus much more.

In addition, DaVinci Resolve 15 includes a major update to Fairlight audio, along with over 100 new features and improvements that professional editors and colorists have asked for. Now, for the first time ever, professional audio post-production is fully integrated into a single application that gives sound editors, colorists, and video editors everything they need to seamlessly collaborate when creating film and television shows. New Fairlight features in DaVinci Resolve 15 include: Automatic Dialogue Replacement, Fixed Playhead, Audio and Video Scrollers, Native Audio Plug Ins, Normalization and a Sound Library Database.

Attendees will also have a hands-on opportunity with Blackmagic’s line of cinema cameras from the URSA Mini Pro, to a sneak peek at the Pocket Cinema Camera 4K that was just announced at NAB.

The Editors’ Lounge offers the opportunity to learn from post-production industry peers and networking with new and old friends. The Lounge opens at 6:30 p.m. with presentations beginning at 7:00 p.m. RSVP is required to attend. The price of admission is to bring your favorite beverage. Editors’ Lounge will provide the food.
