About Professional Organization of Women of Excellence Recognized Magazine
Professional Organization of Women of Excellence Recognized - P.O.W.E.R. Magazine provides a digital and print version featuring women of P.O.W.E.R. members for that quarter. It showcases specific women who have achieved honored designations with full articles, photos and Q&A, and other members for their commitment and dedication in their careers and personal lives. Women today are working harder than ever. They are working full-time, running a household, caring for children and trying to fit in some leisure time. Their stories of empowerment, overcoming adversities and rising up the professional ladder are truly inspirational and deserve recognition. They are everyday working women who are making a difference in their field or industry.

This magazine also showcases legends and celebrities who have reached the pinnacle in their careers. Bonnie Pointer, singer, songwriter and Founding Member of the Grammy award winning Pointer Sisters appears on the cover of the premiere issue of P.O.W.E.R. Magazine. Bonnie exemplifies a woman of power who overcame the pressures of the entertainment industry. By writing her hit songs and never giving up, she was able to move from being a hired back-up singer to becoming the headline act. She persevered both individually and with her sisters to become the legendary Pointer Sisters, receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The premiere issue features other legendary ladies of Disco including Anita Pointer (of the Pointer Sisters), Carol Douglas, Carol Williams and France Joli. These women show how music can make us feel powerful. In addition to these Disco legends, the magazine spotlights other amazing women such as Doris Dalton of Doll10 Cosmetics who is a cancer survivor and animal activist and whose products are well-known on QVC. Donna Drake is an international award-winning creative artist, writer, producer and actress. She created "Live it Up!" to share positive messages of hope that inspire and empower those who need it most.

What all the women featured have in common is a sisterhood of striving to do it all while finding balance in their day to day lives. They are all women of P.O.W.E.R.
