New York, NY, March 08, 2019 --(PR.com)-- The Collateral Loan Brokers Association of New York is proud to announce that David Kaminsky, CEO of EZ Pawn Corp., will be its new President for the upcoming year. David is a second generation pawnbroker who has been in the business since the start of his career. His company, EZ Pawn Corp., has 15 pawnshop locations all over New York City and has been in business since 1996. David has played an integral role in supporting the National Pawn Association and has also had experience supporting key legislative decisions regarding laws effecting Pawnshops in New York state.

David stated at the meeting, "I am more than happy to prove to my fellow pawnbrokers that we can do more, as an Association, to support pawnshops throughout the city and state. My goals will be to create more benefits for our membership, show more support for one another, and work to fight for our rights as pawnshop business owners." David's immediate plans are to integrate more communications between pawnshop owners, and to offer courses/educational knowledge to be shared amongst members.

The Collateral Loan Brokers Association of New York's (CLANY) mission is to contribute to the professional and personal development of member pawnbrokers and members associates through the enhancement of the images and perceptions of the industry; by advocating pawnbroker's rights, responsibilities, and issues in the courts as well as the various lawmaking bodies of the land; and by representing and speaking for the industry.
