Latest Book in Outskirts Author’s Series on Spirituality is Most Thrilling to Date

Kansas City, MO, March 27, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Michael Hecht’s eye-opening series that examines man’s relationship to his creator gets its most exciting entry yet with the introduction of “Is It Him? Volume 3,” just released from Outskirts Press.

The book, published this week and now available through the company’s online bookstore at outskirtspress.com/store.php, continues the thought-provoking inquiry into Christ’s real message of salvation that began in the first two books. But in a departure from earlier volumes in this well-received series, Hecht takes readers on an extraterrestrial journey as he reveals the stunning truth behind the origins of humanity. Told partly from the point of view of Christ himself, and also encompassing the story of The Providers, an out-of-this world race of super-intelligent beings with an interest in humankind’s continued existence, the book challenges traditional constructs of man’s place in the world. It all adds up to a wide-ranging blend of science and religious fiction sure to captivate devotees of either genre.

The essential message of this latest submission in the Is It Him? series is a sobering one, but unlikely to shock anyone familiar with the current gathering storm of global warming and environmental degradation: mankind’s survival can only be assured in accordance with proper stewardship of God’s green earth. Can mankind come out on top? Hecht keeps us guessing until the end. “Notices of eviction will be served,” Hecht writes. “Will Man heed the warnings? He has to act now. There is no window of discussion or debate.”

Combining the thought-provoking point of views for which Hecht has become known supreme storytelling abilities, “Is It Him: Volume 3” invites multiple readings for both pleasure and study. As in the first two volumes, Hecht says, the book was inspired by visions of Christ’s wisdom that began coming to him beginning in 1995, after he discovered “The Gospel of John According to Lorber,” by Jakob Lorber, which describes the day-to-day experience of Christ’s ministry on Earth. As its title suggests, however, “Is It Him?” challenges readers to come to their own conclusions.

“Is It Him? Volume 3” is now available through Ingram, Baker & Taylor, Amazon.com, barnesandnoble.com, and the online bookstore of Outskirts Press, at outskirtspress.com/store.php.
