Faye Hollins-Moore is Producing Her 2nd Play Under Her Production Company, Twin Towers Productions. The Play is Titled, "Weightlessness!!"

"Weightlessness!!" is a play that is based on Faye Hollins-Moore's book, titled, "Hitting The Pavement: A Journalist's 2-Year Memoir of Homelessness" (having lived in six shelters in two years). Note: the book is available on Amazon.com (in both Paperback & Kindle). The play is set in a typical shelter and depicts what it is like to live in one.

New York, NY, May 29, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Ms. Hollins-Moore is looking for investors to help launch this very timely and thought provoking production. The play is based on a journal she kept while living in a winter-only shelter. She was relegated to live there because an injury forced her to retire early from a 20-year career in business. The shelter is a temporary one and the play illustrates the weeks leading up to the shelter closing date of March 31st. It's a very powerful production and not for the faint of heart. As a responsible journalist, she wrote her story from all points of view, including the homeless, merchants, clergy, volunteers, law enforcement, and more. She also wrote it in memoir form to be able to name names of those who are, what she calls, "In it for the money or the glory, or both." She describes those she lived with and includes interviews from the outside. And she did it as a fully embedded journalist and writing incognito. She did this because she knew that, if she told her fellow shelter dwellers she is a journalist, she would have gotten embellished stories or no story at all. And, as Ms. Hollins-Moore states, "I wrote this book and now the play to send the message to those who belittle and criticize the homeless that this could happen to them like it did for me, in a heartbeat." The play is planned for a release date of December 1st, 2019 (when the shelters typically open). This is Ms. Hollins-Moore's third book and third play. And it is the second play being produced by Twin Towers Productions. See details about the play at www.weightlessness.biz (including an explanation for the title).
