About The Author:

Grigor Shashikyan (aka Grig) was born in Yerevan in 1991. In 2015 he received his Master’s Degree at the Faculty of Armenian Philology at Yerevan State University, where he wrote his thesis on world literature and theory of literature. Grig’s first collection of short stories called Jesus’ Cat was published in 2015. In 2016 Grig was awarded a special prize after Levon Ananyan under the “Yerevan Bestseller” project organized by the “Armenpress” news agency. In the same year he was awarded a youth prize by the President of the Republic of Armenia for his collection of short stories Jesus’ Cat. Grig’s stories have been published in various literary journals and anthologies, both in print and digitally. Now he is doing a PhD at Yerevan State University.
