Denver, CO, June 14, 2008 --(PR.com
)-- The Motorcoach Council, Inc. has released its first request for proposals (RFP) to solicit firms capable of developing and executing a comprehensive and multi-faceted marketing strategy for a two-year campaign that promotes the motorcoach industry as the safest, most convenient and cost effective, luxurious means of environmentally conscious transportation.
The Council expects to award one or two contractors as a result of this RFP depending on their scope of service, professional background and pricing structure. The maximum amount available for this project is $1.1 million in year one.
“We’re hoping to utilize the industry’s resources and pipeline to generate some innovative proposals, and ultimately create an identity and voice for the new motorcoach,” said Board member, Gladys Gillis, CEO of Seattle-based Starline Luxury Coaches.
Proposals should include: a statement of technical work; an estimate of time and resources needed; a work schedule and completion date; and an itemized list of deliverables.
The Council will evaluate responses and award this work to an organization based on “best value” analysis of the proposals received, to include costs, technical value, and ability to complete the work satisfactorily and deliver on time.
Copies of the RFP are available online at: www.MotorcoachCouncil.org
The deadline to submit the RFP is 5:00 p.m. Friday, July 18, 2008. Electronic submissions are acceptable. Sealed proposals should be delivered to:
