“According to a recent survey by the travel Web site TripAdvisor, about 50 percent of American travelers are changing their summer travel plans because of soaring fuel prices and sticking closer to home,” said David DuBois, CMP, CAE, president and CEO of the Fort Worth Convention & Visitors Bureau. “We understand the increased need for travelers to experience ‘staycations’ and that’s exactly why we developed the ‘Summer Stay & Save’ program. As a visitor-friendly community, we want to help travelers enjoy an outstanding vacation and save money at the same time.”
