WebAsyst Suite Allows SMS Messaging

WebAsyst LLC adds SMS messaging feature to Contact Manager application of WebAsyst Suite, ensuring immediate attention and fastest reaction possible on the part of addressee.

Wilmington, DE, April 21, 2006 --(PR.com)-- WebAsyst ™ has added an SMS messaging feature to its Contact Manager application, part of WebAsyst Suite (www.webasyst.net), a set of web based communication and collaboration tools. The company now offers quite another level of communication: while e-mail messages are not always read promptly, SMS text messages are received directly in addressee’s mobile phones, ensuring immediate attention.

The new SMS feature addresses one of the primary purposes of WebAsyst Suite – to bridge gaps in geographically dispersed teams - making collaboration even more convenient. Mobile phone numbers of recipients can be easily chosen from Contact Manager (http://www.webasyst.net/contact-manager.htm) database or entered manually. The Contact Manager database also provides the facility to send SMS in bulk mode; i.e., same text to several persons with just a couple of clicks.

WebAsyst applications may be purchased as hosted accounts or open source. For hosted customers, an SMS gateway account is already included in the package, and customers simply pay for actual SMS messages in their Customer Account by purchasing SMS credits. Open source customers install the software on an independent server, and in this case users will set up an account with Clickatell in order to use SMS feature. The Clickatell module which enables SMS messaging is part of the Suite; customers need only to supply their account details.
