Welcoming Pulmonologist, Dr. Christine Napolitano

Dr. Napolitano will be practicing at NY Health’s offices located at 805 Northern Blvd, Great Neck, NY 11021 and 1 Delaware Drive, Lake Success, NY 11042.

Dr. Napolitano’s career includes more than two decades of clinical practice in pulmonary and critical care medicine. She has served in attending physician and intensivist roles across multiple hospital and physician settings, including Catholic Health Physician Partners Pulmonary Medicine, Northwell Health Physician Partners Pulmonary Medicine, St. Francis Hospital, Ellis Hospital, and Columbia Memorial Pulmonology.
Dr. Napolitano earned her Doctor of Osteopathy from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine after completing her Bachelor of Arts in Natural Sciences at Fordham University, College at Lincoln Center. She completed both her Internal Medicine Residency and Fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care at North Shore University Hospital.

She served as an Assistant Professor of Pulmonology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at South Dakota State Medical School. She has also supervised residents, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners in hospital and intensive care settings. Dr. Napolitano has contributed to published research in pulmonary medicine and has presented on topics including unexplained dyspnea, hypersensitivity pneumonitis, lung cancer, and community-acquired pneumonia.
