R.J. Kielty Plumbing, Air & Electric Hosts "Shine a Light on a Cure" Breast Cancer Awareness Event on Saturday, Oct. 3

Kielty Plumbing, Air & Electric will host "Shine a Light on a Cure: Breast Cancer Awareness Event" on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 10a.m. to 2p.m. at 7979 Massachusetts Ave, New Port Richey, FL, bringing the community together at the start of Breast Cancer Awareness Month to raise awareness, raise funds and show support for local families affected by the disease.

The event will support three local families facing breast cancer, nominated by members of the community. According to the American Cancer Society, about 1 in 8 women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime, so most communities have felt its impact in some way.

A diagnosis can make the days feel long and uncertain, and knowing a whole community is standing behind you can mean everything.
