Miami, FL, October 14, 2026 --(PR.com)-- Lourdes C. Denizé of Miami, Florida, has been recognized as a Woman of the Month for September 2026 by P.O.W.E.R. (Professional Organization of Women of Excellence Recognized). This prestigious distinction acknowledges her accomplishments in the field of visual art. About Lourdes C. Denizé
Lourdes C. Denizé (Zulmie) is a visual artist, painter, ceramicist, and the founder of Zulmie Art Gallery, where she showcases colorful works filled with stories and open to individual interpretation. Her distinctive style combines abstract art and hidden figures while paying tribute to her Haitian heritage and embracing Miami, Florida, the place she now calls home.

Haitian-born, Lourdes Denizé (Zulmie) has spent most of her adult life in the United States. Her passion for painting and writing began at an early age while attending the Lambi Club in Carrefour, Port-au-Prince, Haiti, where she learned about theater, painting, and culture. Before leaving Haiti, her work was characterized by an abstract quality, a style she explored even further after moving to the United States.

For Lourdes, art is more than an image. Her work presents subjects whose interpretations can be shaped by each observer’s life experiences and can change over time. She views the joy of her work as a journey into the unknown and an opportunity for individuals to discover themselves through her representations.

Although her passion for art continued to grow and her artistic initiatives expanded, Lourdes did not begin sharing her work publicly until 2018. Since then, her work has been exhibited in Michigan by the Haitian Network Group of Michigan and at various private events. Miami’s City Magazine also printed an announcement of Zulmie’s exhibition at the Stadium Hotel in Miami Gardens, where her work was exhibited for two years.

In addition to her artistic work, Lourdes Denizé (Zulmie) is a member of the Miramar Pembroke Pines Regional Chamber of Commerce, reflecting her involvement in the local business and community network.

Lourdes Denizé (Zulmie) attended the Manhattan School of Printing in New York City.
