About the Book (Excerpts & Info)

Hero Or Villain - inspired by a true story that made history in America. One man proved the proverb that ‘man is evil’ when he unleashed his madness in a McDonald's restaurant. The author embellished when he moved the man and his madness next to the author's alma mata UALR in Little Rock, Arkansas.

The tragedy brought Little Rock to its knees that day.

Every story has a beginning, a middle, and an end.

This story begins with an old chest in his parent’s attic, where Julian Barrin discovers a chilling truth, a journal written a century before by Kevin Barrin, containing details of a murder performed by Kevin’s twin, Julian. These are Julian’s ancient cousins. And Julian figures he may be genetically programmed to become another Ted Bundy. And hearing faint ghostly voices convinces him even more.

Too many coincidences. Man is evil. And death doesn’t always kill the evil in man.

Deceiving twists that finally reveal the truth in the morgue. Ghosts in the attic and in the morgue...but talking only to Julian Barrin...until Barbara shows up. Why are these ghosts hanging around? Are they messengers? Are they real? Or a figment of Julian’s warped imagination? “I’m either a medium or a madman!”

They’re a century apart. But if the ghosts are real and the identical twins with identical names are a clue, Julian assumes he is destined to go mad.

Julian becomes obsessed with the human psyche. He figures his only hope is Doctor Dawson, a professor of psychology at the University of Arkansas. Dawson has knowledge that surprises everyone. He’s more involved in Julian’s nightmare than anyone could imagine, and Julian is abruptly confronted by his past in a moment of violence he never imagined possible. And the final truth is more shocking than the violence!.

Behind cold steel doors in the coroner’s laboratory, Julian hears a voice on its final cold journey into oblivion.

“I’m not gone yet. As you know, we ghosts have a long memory!”
