Darnerien McCants developed into a productive and experienced receiver in his four seasons in Washington. He uses his size and athletic ability to make plays. In his four seasons with the Redskins, he has played in 30 games with three starts and collected 53 catches for 687 yards and eight scores. He broke out in 2003 for 27 catches for 360 yards and tied for a team-lead in touchdown catches with six. He served as the go-to threat in the red zone for the Redskins offense, providing a large target for the Redskins quarterbacks while all of his touchdown catches but one came from five yards out or less.

This versatile athlete continues to shine in the community where he participates in numerous charity events through the Eagles organization as well as privately.
