Offshore Sailing School Beckons Sailors with 45th Anniversary Contest

Fort Myers, FL, December 07, 2008 --(PR.com)-- In 2009, Offshore Sailing School kicks off its 45th year of teaching people to sail by announcing an invitation to enter a contest, in which all are eligible, entitled, "45 Reasons to Learn to Sail". Contest winners can receive a number of valuable prizes simply by submitting a list of 45 reasons why they should learn to sail.

The Grand Prize is one free-tuition for a 3-Day Learn to Sail course or one free-tuition for a Bareboat Cruising Preparation course at any Offshore Sailing School campus, subject to availability. Travel, accommodations and other incidental expenses are not included. Day Sailing or Basic Keelboat Certification (or equivalent training) is a prerequisite for the Bareboat Cruising Preparation course.

A Second Prize will be awarded, two 2-hour sailing lessons at any Offshore Sailing School campus, subject to availability.

The Third Prize is one 2-hour sailing lesson at any Offshore Sailing School campus, subject to availability. Entries must be received via email or postal mail by March 31, 2009, and winners will be judged and selected based on merit such as the quality, creativity and originality of the entry. The winners will be notified by phone, mail and/or email.
