DCIA Announces P2P MEDIA SUMMIT LA Agenda

4th Annual Event Will Focus on P2P Usage Data, Analytical Tools, Relevant Trends, and Future Opportunities – Pre-Registration Ends April 27th.

Los Angeles, CA, April 04, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Distributed Computing Industry Association (www.DCIA.info), a trade organization with more than one-hundred Member companies, including peer-to-peer, cloud computing, and social networking software developers and distributors (P2Ps), Internet service providers (ISPs), content rights holders (CRHs), and service-and-support companies, today announced the agenda and principal speakers for its upcoming P2P MEDIA SUMMIT LA.

This fourth annual P2P MEDIA SUMMIT LA is scheduled for Monday May 4th at Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel in Los Angeles, CA, and is being held in conjunction with Digital Hollywood Spring.

“Given NPD's startling report this week on music consumption and the unprecedented online pre-release of 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' yesterday, the subject matter of our 2009 conference could not be more timely. Our focus will be on data gathering and analytics in the P2P marketplace," said DCIA CEO Marty Lafferty in making the announcement.
