SQM's Rule #1 When Traveling: Always Look Your Best

A recent survey of 2,000 North Americans conducted by Sensors Quality Management, shows that aesthetics is the most important when traveling.

Toronto, ON, Canada, July 08, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Money, credit cards, and pieces of identification may be important, but according to a recent travel survey of 2,000 North Americans conducted by Sensors Quality Management, it seems that aesthetics is more important. Of the people surveyed, 20% selected hair products and tools like gel or spray, blow dryer, curling iron, and straightener as items from home that they can’t live without when traveling. Clearly, rule #1 is to always have perfect hair for the camera, who needs clothes (only about 2% of people)?

With 15% selecting their laptop, this makes it the second most common item from home that people can’t live without. Whether it’s a vacation or a business trip, rule #2 is to bring a laptop to stay entertained, up-to-date, and connected with family, friends, and if absolutely necessary, work.

Rule #3 is to always bring your own toothbrush. With 10% of people selecting a toothbrush as a must-bring item from home, it’s true, foreign toothbrushes are just not the same.
