Gray Line San Diego and AudioConexus Provide Passengers with Fun, Entertaining GPS Guided Audio Tours
Gray Line San Diego launches two new GPS triggered audio tours for its San Diego City Tour and Baja Mexico Coastal Tour. Passengers are immersed in fun, entertaining, and educational stories told by professional narrators and actors. Stories are set against backdrops of music and sound effects providing travelers with high-quality cinematic sightseeing experiences.
Launching their new “The American Riviera” GPS-enabled audio tour of San Diego, this immersive audio tour experience will take passengers from the proud ships of Navy Town to the honkey tonk saloons, horse drawn carriages and painted ladies of San Diego’s 1860’s New Town – and to the birth place of San Diego – Old Town. Adding to Gray Line San Diego’s commitment to providing high-quality sightseeing tours, its Tijuana Tour and Baja Mexico Coastal Tour is also introducing new GPS triggered audio tours. Passengers will be entertained by stories about local lore, legends and myths while learning about some of Baja California’s many riches, among them – the second largest bull ring in the world and its strolling mariachi musicians.
“Our new GPS-enabled audio tours allow us to enhance our passengers’ experiences with fun and entertaining stories on our sightseeing routes,” said Ed Comartin, General Manager of Gray Line San Diego. “Offering GPS audio tours demonstrates our commitment to delivering high-quality, engaging and entertaining tours each and every time our tours depart. We’re excited about providing this new service to our customers, providing the very best in San Diego sightseeing.”
“Gray Line San Diego’s vision from the start was to provide the best possible sightseeing experience for their passengers without sacrificing the value of driver interaction with their customers,” said Jonathan Stanley, President & CEO of AudioConexus Inc. “Now passengers can experience the very best that Gray Line San Diego has to offer. We are very pleased to be working with Gray Line San Diego and we are thrilled to be part of a program to significantly enhance passengers’ sightseeing experiences with Coach America.”
The GPS audio tour system designed for Gray Line San Diego is a location-based (GPS) triggered, wireless tour entertainment solution offering tour commentary delivered to passengers on sightseeing tours. This portable GPS Tour system is providing English tours in San Diego, as well as to Tijuana and the Baja Mexico Coast to Ensenada. In addition to providing a fun and informative tour experience, the system also reduces driver training time and promotes safer driving.
