)-- Ann Francke, Beautorium President and Co-founder, will present "Ethical Retailing: Growing Green Beauty - Without the Wash" at the 17th Annual HBA Global Expo & Conference.
Francke's presentation will be part of HBA’s session entitled “SUSTAINABILITY FROM A-Z: Prioritizing the Initiatives to Drive Profitability.” She will be joined by Dan Sanker, CEO & Founder of CaseStack, Inc., and Sharon Christie, Founder of Aromafloria, on the panel, Tuesday, September 15, 2:30 p.m - 4 p.m. at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York.
Francke will address how to grow green beauty ethically, what green beauty and green retailers can learn from conventional beauty brands and conventional retailers, and vice versa. She will define ethical retailing, discuss best practices and offer practical suggestions to help grow the category. Franke will also explain how and why beauty brands Juice Beauty, Korres Materia Herba and Trilogy all exemplify effective ethical retailing.
Additionally, the panel will address how most companies realize the importance of providing sustainable packaging for consumers, yet there is often a disconnect when communicating this concept to consumers. They will speak to strides being made in sustainable packaging as well as methods to effectively introduce initiatives to consumers.
