Using CrystalBlue Voice™, the NMDC has significantly reduced phone expenses while gaining enhanced voice capabilities. The organization is also taking advantage of complementary Whaleback services such as OrcaMeeting and OrcaFax to enhance employee productivity.
Based in Caribou, Maine, the NMDC provides regional community planning and economic development resources across northern Maine. After facing poor call quality from its previous voice over IP (VoIP) solution, the commission discovered that CrystalBlue Voice could provide a stable, high quality VoIP service to connect its remote offices and communicate with its members. With this service, the NMDC has gained dedicated broadband access and fully featured voice services. The commission’s executive team was pleased to discover that CrystalBlue Voice could save them an average of $800 per month while increasing call fidelity and reliability.
