National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association Offers Fitness Career Diversity and Support in a Down Economy
Rancho Santa Marg., CA, January 09, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association (NESTA), a nationally accredited fitness school, is doing something about the economy. They have found several ways to drastically improve the likelihood of their graduates’ success as fitness professionals. NESTA, established in 1992, has over 45,000 members throughout the world, with 85% of its members in North America.

According to NESTA CEO, Dr. John Spencer Ellis, “NESTA learned long ago that having quality education and certification is very important and not nearly enough to ensure financial success and a personal trainer, sports conditioning coach or nutrition consultant. You must have proven business and marketing strategies (online and off) to create financial abundance.” He goes on to add, “I have seen way too many highly qualified fitness trainers leave the fitness industry because they cannot make a living. It’s really sad. However, the good news is that the fitness professionals who follow our fitness business models frequently make 3 – 10 times more than the national average of about $29,000, yr.”

NESTA has been intimately involved with some of the biggest trends in fitness over the last decade including Adventure Boot Camp (now the largest such program in the world), and IMPACT, a new large group personal training fitness business model. However, NESTA says it’s most proud of its new fitness business model. It is so immense; they have developed an entire new division to support it. NESTA’s new division is the MMA Conditioning Association, which will offer the MMA Conditioning Coach Certification and business system.

It is said that the MMA Conditioning Association was created for fitness and sports conditioning professionals to benefit from the astronomical growth of the mixed martial arts (MMA) industry. These martial artists have great instruction for technique, but are often left without formal instruction when it comes to the specific strength, power, flexibility and cardio vascular conditioning.

If the launch of the MMA Conditioning Association on January 21, 2010 is half as successful as Ellis anticipates, fitness trainers will easily fight their way through any economy while helping millions of us get in great shape.
