Yats Leisure Reports Three New Concerns in Recent Survey on Companies Selecting Venue for Company Outing in 2010
Yats Leisure conducted a survey of HR and Office Managers of 100 companies asking them to name the top three concerns when selecting a venue for this year's company outing. Security tops the list.
Manila, Philippines, January 13, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Price was the biggest issue in the last 5 years when selecting a venue for company outing in the Philippines. Although cost is always a factor, three new factors have unseeded cost in the top of the list.
In a recent Yats Leisure poll of 100 managers in Human Resource or Office Administration, the results clearly indicated that crime rates, convenience of location and pollution levels are the biggest concerns. Evidently many previous events have been plagued with problems in those three areas and event organizers have been reminded by clients and management to pay special attention to these aspects this year.
Clark Freeport, Pampanga tops the list of destinations, a jump from 10th place last year. Low Crime Rate bring Clark to the forefront. Semi-private resorts like Clearwater Resort & Country Club offer even more in terms of security and safety and these are not the favorites, over public places. Public beach resorts can not provide the safety and security assurance of private properties.
Pollution, traffic and proximity to highways and freeways are extremely important to selection of destinations. Last year, organizers were showered with complaints when participants spent over 50% of their day-tours in buses stuck in traffic after exiting from the highway. The recent floods did not help to improve traffic conditions in country roads. Smart organizers now stick to destinations that are within 10-20 minutes from nearest Highway exit.
