Green Bay, WI, March 24, 2010 --(PR.com
)-- Stress and cortisol are a part of daily life for almost everyone. But chronically high cortisol levels can lead to a multitude of conditions, including coronary artery disease, diabetes, depression, anxiety, and persistent weight problems.
Cortisol production is regulated by the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis, and involves the endocrine, nervous, and immune systems – which can make treatment a complicated process.
Dr. Holly Lucille, ND, RN, a women’s health specialist and author, will host a teleconference detailing how to change the situation naturally.
In her presentation, Managing Cortisol Levels for Overall Health, Dr. Lucille will discuss ways to shift the focus of treatment to a nutritional strategy that emphasizes stress reduction, restoring proper cortisol balance, and a return to healthy sleep patterns.
This teleconference will occur twice:
Thursday April 1, at 6:30 pm CST
Thursday April 8, 6:30 pm PST
