Nika Corporate Housing Wins Bid to Provide Housing to Foreign Coalition Military
Tampa, FL, February 14, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Nika Corporate Housing, LLC has been selected by the 6th Contracting Squadron, serving Headquarters, United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) as the lead provider of extended-stay corporate housing facilities for foreign coalition forces stationed at MacDill Air Force Base, located in Tampa Florida.

USCENTCOM, which is the military headquarters responsible for the entire Middle East and Horn of Africa regions, currently has 70 foreign nations with hundreds of officers and enlisted personnel on temporary duty in Tampa, actively participating as representatives of their various countries in the war on terror. Each of these coalition members requires a place to reside off base, since on-base accommodations at MacDill AFB are at capacity with U.S. personnel.

Mr. Jim Lee, a spokesperson for Nika Corporate Housing said, “We are very excited to have the opportunity to serve CENTCOM and the foreign coalition members, and we look forward to taking great care of each of these guests.” He went on to say, “We have quite a lot of U.S. military members staying with us now, and this official ‘stamp’ of approval to serve high-ranking foreign coalition members serves as an affirmation that we are doing it right.”

Coalition members may spend up to one year or more of duty at USCENTCOM, and then are relieved by another member from their home country if required. During their stay in Tampa, Nika Corporate Housing will provide coalition members fully furnished, basic one-bedroom apartments close to MacDill AFB.

“Corporate Housing makes the most sense in situations like this because everything is included for one low price, plus, for the traveler, it’s much larger and much more comfortable than a hotel for extended stays,” said Nika Corporate Housing’s president and owner Nika Cagle. “The military bids services like this out to ensure the price they pay is competitive – I was told that this bid had 13 applicants; and believe me, the competition was fierce,” she added.

By utilizing Nika Corporate Housing, organizations can be the most flexible while getting the most value for the cost, according to Mr. Lee. Nika Corporate Housing arranges everything that is required for a fully-functional apartment to be ready for move-in, including setting them up with furniture and then adding cookware, utensils, art, linens and utilities, plus any required services such as electric, phone and cable. They bundle the costs together, and then charge their guest one price for the whole package. “This way, they (the customer) can order up apartments as they need them knowing exactly what the price and quality will be. Then it’s up to us to go through all of the hassles of setting them up,” said Mr. Lee

Nika Corporate Housing is a certified small, woman-owned business headquartered in Tampa FL, and has been serving corporate housing needs for government/military and mobile professionals across the nation for nearly eight years. United States Military personnel stationed at USCENTCOM have also recognized Nika Corporate Housing in the past for their outstanding service and product.
