Flights to Iceland Resume from Baltimore / Washington DC
London, United Kingdom, April 12, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Icelandair has resumed direct flights between Baltimore / Washington and Keflavik International Aiport in time for the busy summer season. There will be daily flights to and from the Icelandic and US capitals as of April.

Baltimore / Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, or BWI, functions as the airport for both Baltimore and Washington DC. European visitors to the US therefore have the option to visit both cities on the same trip – Washington DC, famous for The White House and other national monuments, and Baltimore, a lively yet little visited seaport city. Icelandair offers a free stop-over in Iceland for passengers who wish to break their journey with up to 7 nights to explore the country.

The flight time between Reykjavik and BWI is around 6 hours and flights leave daily from Iceland at 4.55 pm and from BWI at 8.45 pm. To find out more and book flights, visit www.icelandair.co.uk for flights from the UK and www.icelandair.com for flights from the US.
