Ameridose Continues Outstanding Sustainability Performance

Westborough, MA, March 06, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Ameridose, LLC, nationwide provider of sterile admixing services to hospital pharmacies, is pleased to present outstanding 2011 sustainability results. Recycled materials generated from Ameridose facilities totaled 1.9 million lbs. Corrugated cardboard dominated with over 600,000 lbs, empty glass medical vials contributed close to 200,000 lbs, LDPE #4 film surpassed 100,000 lbs, and rigid plastic came to over 65,000 lbs. Material collection at Ameridose is built into all of the organization’s practices.

Furthermore, during 2011, a facility-wide energy audit was conducted to encourage continuous improvement. Energy efficient interior and exterior lighting was installed, and Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems were upgraded for enhanced effectiveness and efficiency.
