)-- Peter G. Shanazu of Fairfield, Connecticut has been chosen as Male Educator of the Year for 2012 in the Strathmore’s Who’s Who Worldwide Edition for his outstanding contributions and achievements in the field of education.
About Peter G. Shanazu
Mr. Shanazu has over 8 years experience in the education field. He is a Teacher at Bassick High School in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Mr. Shanazu teaches trigonometry and calculus to Juniors and Seniors and has taught all four grade levels in classes that include algebra, geometry, and algebra 2 as well. Peter has also taken on many responsibilities such as being the assistant athletic director and being graduation coordinator, just to name a few. He is affiliated with the National Education Association and Connecticut Educators Association. Mr. Shanazu obtained his B.A. in Theoretical Mathematics from the University of Connecticut, his M.A. in Teaching and a 6th Year in Educational Administration, both from Sacred Heart University.
