Jack Wright, author of The Princess Rules: No More frogs has chosen Kickstarter crowd-funding as a way to introduce this new relationship book for single women and couples who would like to develop better communications skills.

New Book The Princess Rules: No More Frogs Takes on the Problem of Bad Choices in Men
San Francisco, CA, October 28, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Exciting new writer, Jack Wright, first put The Princess Rules into written form as a series of daily “snippets” intended to capture the heart of his new online Princess. Before meeting for the momentous first FTF (face-to-face), he felt compelled (wisely or not) to list the many ways he intended to honor the needs and feelings of a potential “love of his life.” And to make sure he looked like a great choice – not the infamous and seemingly ubiquitous “bad choice in men.”

Well, it all worked out. The all-out pursuit led to love-at-first-sight, a wildfire romance, a mountain top proposal, a Princess wedding and a happily-ever-after.

Four years of refining the snippets has resulted in a new kind of relationship book. It’s a short, fun, effective little book that could probably take the place of most of the “relationship” books cluttering up your bookshelf or sitting in a box in the garage waiting for the next yard sale (the box in front of the one you really need to get to).

Early readers of advance copies are reporting that these 10 very simple Rules actually work. One reader (a guy) summed up his impressions of the book this way: “It’s like having Google maps instead of driving around blindfolded.” And that’s a good description of a book that proposes that great relationships are about knowing where you are, where you're going, and not losing your temper in heavy emotional traffic – which usually ends up in bumper-to-bumper relationship gridlock.

According to the author, The Princess Rules are intended for young women with little or no relationship experience who are about to make serious commitments (good or bad); women who have been in and out of difficult relationships and are now looking for the elusive “Mr. Right;” women (and men) who are currently in uncomfortable or disruptive relationships that could benefit from greater understanding; and for couples in good relationships that could be even better with a few short “cue words” that bypass the drama and shortcut the often long and arduous process of “talking things out.”

“I think most people know that it’s very difficult for a new writer to attract a publisher in this economy,” says Wright. “Self-publishing is about the only way to go, and it’s expensive to print and promote a new book. So we’re turning to Kickstarter 'crowd-funding' to get the book into release and distribution. We’re confident that readers, male or female, can benefit from learning about even one of the rules.”
