)-- FRAFOS announced today the availability of its award winning ABC session border controller as a freely downloadable trial version.
The ABC SBC is a highly flexible session border controller that protects VoIP service providers offering telephony services based on the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). With its out of the box support for cloud deployments and its open interfaces, the ABC SBC offers VoIP service providers the needed intelligence for integrating web applications and powerful monitoring features.
FRAFOS provides the ABC SBC as a free trial version that offers all that one expects from a carrier grade session border controller and more, namely, GUI-based management, SIP session control, border access control, high availability and performance and network monitoring features.
“With the ABC SBC VoIP service providers and enterprises will deploy a scalable session border controller that was designed to run on top of high end hardware as well as appliances and virtual machines. Instead of launching expensive marketing campaigns we want to give VoIP operators an easy and transparent way to discover for themselves what the ABC SBC offers and how it can solve their problems,” said Berthold Butscher, CEO, FRAFOS.
The trial version is provided pre-configured as a virtual machine with only a small difference from the commercial version: Calls are limited to 90 seconds.
