New Drug Safety/Pharmacovigilance Report Training by Well-Known Safety Expert

Drug Safety Navigator, LLC will proudly host an interactive drug safety webinar with Dr. Barton Cobert, global pharmacovigilance expert and published author, on the challenges of the new Periodic Benefit-Risk Evaluation Reports (PBRERs) on March 26 at 11:00 AM EST (USA).

Research Triangle Park, NC, February 28, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Dr. Barton Cobert, global expert, author, and consultant in drug safety and pharmacovigilance for over 25 years, will conduct a new interactive webinar designed for those involved in pharmacovigilance and regulatory reporting. The workshop, “PSURs, PBRERs, PADERs: Jeepers Peepers – What is all this stuff?” will focus on differences between the various regulatory reports, the issues surrounding which report to submit, and overall need for changes.

Dr. Cobert is a frequent speaker and trainer for the pharmaceutical industry and by his own admission, is somewhat controversial because he points out the absurdity of many of today’s complex pharmacovigilance regulations. Dr. Cobert will also address the confusion around submission times, International Birth Dates, and the lack of harmonization between the various reports and regulatory agencies and the challenges these documents produce for companies marketing products in the EU, US and elsewhere. This workshop will address not only the requirements but the complexities, issues and risks companies must address in the preparation of these sometimes aggravating aggregate reports.

This interactive live webinar will be held Wednesday, March 26th starting at 11:00 AM EST (USA) and will include 60 minutes of learning material plus 30 minutes for Q & A session. Please visit www.drugsafetynavigator.com for more information on how to register and other upcoming training topics.
