Freehold, NJ, March 24, 2014 --(PR.com
)-- Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Institute (AOSMI) is proud to announce that Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Michael J. Greller, has been awarded with Vitals 2013 Most Compassionate Doctor Award.
The distinction of Most Compassionate Doctor recognizes physician excellence and is given only to those receiving exceptional reviews by their patients. Only three percent of practicing physicians are selected, making this achievement a testament to Dr. Greller’s style, manner, and successful patient care. Moreover, Dr. Greller received this same honor in 2012, making him a winner in two consecutive years.
Dr. Gerardo Goldberger, AOSMI’s Vice-President, describes Dr. Greller as “a caring, warmhearted, and sympathetic physician who brings not only warmth and compassion to his care, but also is considerate, patient, and makes his patients feel comfortable and confident in their treatment plan.”
Dr. Greller prides himself on building meaningful relationships, tending to all his patients as if they were family. He stated, "I am honored and humbled to receive this award. I am truly grateful to my patients whom I appreciate, and took the time to rate me and give me wonderful reviews. It not only reflects on me but on all of the terrific support that I get from my colleagues and staff at Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Institute and at CentraState Medical Center.”
Dr. Greller is a board-certified, fellowship-trained sports medicine orthopedic surgeon. He earned his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, N.Y. and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the prestigious Hospital for Joint Diseases Orthopedic Institute – New York University Medical Center. Dr. Greller also completed a fellowship in sports medicine at Temple University, and spent an extra year specializing in minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures of the shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle.
