Gradeable Launches Digital Grading Mobile App

Gradeable, an online grading tool, launches a new mobile app that enables teachers to give students test results before they even leave the classroom.

Boston, MA, March 26, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Gradeable, an online grading tool, launched a new mobile app that empowers educators to strengthen their teaching with student learning trends, through real-time intervention. Current in-class chapter test data takes weeks to grade and analyze before teachers and parents even see the results. Now by using the Gradeable mobile app, teachers can grade faster to optimize every minute of their classroom with actionable insights.

The mobile app integrates with the free-standing Gradeable Inbox to engage students in the self-assessment process from beginning to end. The Gradeable Inbox is easy to assemble and can be placed anywhere in the classroom to be accessible to all students. Students submit assignments to the Inbox that are scanned, graded, and analyzed in minutes - all without the teacher touching physical paper or taking extra work home. Teachers are able to immediately determine the effectiveness of the day’s lesson and engage students in targeted feedback before they step out the door.

“We created the mobile app so teachers could give immediate feedback on student work, right in their own classroom,” said Parul Singh, the founder and CEO of Gradeable. “Teachers should have the choice between bubble sheets and any kind of written response, while still getting immediacy and actionable information.”

Colin, a middle school reading teacher says, “The best thing about Gradeable is that it automatically grades, so that I don’t have to do that—but it also gives me data. I can actually click and look to see how my students did on each question and then use that data the next class—immediately.”

Current Gradeable users can download the free Gradeable app in the iTunes App Store at http://bit.ly/GradeableApp. New users can sign up for a free trial at www.gradeable.com.
