Glory to Glory Ministries is hosting a Youth Civic Summit, a seminar geared towards young people in order to educate them on their rights, responsibilities, and suggested strategies for getting through potential confrontations calmly and safely. All youth (ages 11-18) and parent are invited to the seminar.

Temple Terrace, FL, May 13, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Glory to Glory Ministries is hosting their first annual Youth Civic Summit, designed to help educate young people on their rights, responsibilities, and suggested strategies for getting through potential confrontations and altercations calmly and safely.

"As we look back at tragedies such as the Trayvon Martin case and many others like it, we began to examine the circumstances, and evaluate how these situations could be avoided in the future through education and awareness," according to Summit volunteer Tommie Ellis.

Support for the Youth Summit has been overwhelming as local deputies, lawyers, and stores will be donating their time in order to help educate youth of their rights as it relates to several topics including: How to handle oneself during confrontations, Miranda rights and what they mean, Social media tips, and How to handle arrest or interrogations.

This is a free seminar for youth ages 11-18 (and their parents). For questions or information visit glorytoglory.org/youth-summit or call 813-832-6000
