More Than 50,000 Square Feet of Props, Furniture and Themed Décor Up for Auction on August 5

Dallas, TX, July 28, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Earlier this year, Shag Carpet Productions, Inc. acquired Fun Factory Events, a company with an extensive inventory of unique props, furniture and themed décor collected during their 25 years in business. Due to limited warehouse space, Shag Carpet Productions will be hosting an auction of more than 1,000 of these unique and one-of-a-kind items. The auction will take place on August 5.

Interested bidders are invited to inspect the items in person prior to bidding. Preview days are 10 am-4 pm August 1, 2 and 4 at the former Fun Factory warehouse, 3366 Miller Park South, Garland, Texas.

Items for auction include bars, unique life-size figures, games, lighting, antiques, furniture, gas pumps and backdrops and much more. Items for auction have been used at special events and in commercials, movies and TV shows, such as the iconic elephant that was outside the electronics store in the TV show, “The Good Guys.”

There will be a webcast auction with live bidding via the Internet and a timed auction, also online. The live, webcast auction begins at 10 am CT Tuesday, August 5. The timed online auction closes 2 pm CT Thursday, August 7. All bidding is done online and there is no on-site bidding. To register to bid on auction items, please visit www.GAauction.com.
