About Margaret “Peg” Tracey
Ms. Tracey has almost 45 years experience in the education field. She is a Regional UniServ Director for the California Teachers Association which is part of the National Education Association. CTA is a professional employee organization representing more than 340,000 public school teachers, counselors, psychologists, librarians, other non-supervisory certified personnel and education support professionals. She serves as the chief representative for over 4,000 teachers (for K-12 and community college) of San Bernardino and oversees the contracts and abstracts. Ms. Tracey provides solutions to problems and provides legal counsel for daily situations. She is affiliated with Phi Delta Kappa, the Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development, California Staff Organization, National Staff Organization and N.A.F.E. She was born on September 22, 1945 and obtained a B.A. in English from Florida Atlantic University in 1967. In her spare time Ms. Tracey is an avid reader, Southwestern art collector and enjoys deep- sea fishing. She particularly likes sailing to different ports of call in the world.
