RailPros Awarded Alameda Corridor-East Grade Crossing Project

RailPros is excited to announce that they were awarded a contract to provide Preliminary Engineering and Final Design Services for the Pomona At-Grade Crossing Safety Improvement Project with Alameda Corridor-East Construction Authority.

Irvine, CA, July 10, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Their Project Manager, Robert Williams, PE leads the team which has already started performing site assessments and surveys. The goal of the project is to enhance vehicular and pedestrian safety at 4 existing at-grade crossings in the City of Pomona along the UPRR Alhambra and Los Angeles Subdivisions. The crossings include Hamilton Boulevard, Park Avenue, Main Street and Palomares Street. The scope of services includes performing site studies and identifying enhancements and modifications, developing concept plans for proposed improvements and preparing a PS&E package for construction. Specific improvements may include improved sidewalks, pedestrian gates or other safety modifications, street improvements and upgraded warning signals and signage.
