Long-time Five O'Clock Steakhouse
employee, Natalio Perez launched El Comedor as a food truck in the fall of 2014. On August 31, 2015, through strong support from the community, as well as, his former employers, Perez opened his first brick and mortar restaurant of the same name.

Five O'Clock Steakhouse Managing Partner, Stelio Kalkounos, was on-hand for the ribbon-cutting. "It was always Natalio's dream to open his own restaurant," said Kalkounos. "Being family owned and operated ourselves, it is an honor to lend our support the Perez family as they expand El Comedor from a food truck to a thriving business."
