Makers Nutrition Hires Stephen Finnegan as General Manager
Hauppauge, NY, February 25, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Makers Nutrition, LLC is pleased to announce that Stephen Finnegan has joined the company as General Manager. A highly experienced executive with a 20-plus year background in business operations, logistics, facilities, sales and personnel management, Finnegan’s primary role will be to help guide Makers Nutrition’s rapid expansion in the highly competitive nutraceutical manufacturing market place.

Based in Hauppauge, New York, Makers Nutrition’s mission is to make supplement manufacturing straightforward and affordable for vitamin brands. The company custom manufactures all types of supplements often within a quick, four-week timeframe. In addition, Makers Nutrition offers value added services including packaging, labeling, design and fulfillment services.

Prior to joining Makers Nutrition, Finnegan served as Vice President of Distribution at Jennifer Convertibles Inc. and Ashley Furniture Homestores®, where he oversaw operations, home delivery, transportation and policies for all company facilities nationally. At Jennifer Convertibles, Finnegan was involved in the retail expansion from 38 to 250 stores while also serving as the General Sales Manager and Market Manager for the company’s North Carolina retail operation. This experience allows Finnegan to bring a big company background to a fast-growing organization such as Makers Nutrition.

“Makers Nutrition is growing rapidly, and I am excited about working to help this company reach its enormous potential,” says Finnegan.

Finnegan, who officially joined Makers Nutrition on January 4th of this year, is well regarded as a hands-on executive who possesses high-level business skills and also creative ideas for achieving operational and sales excellence. He has managed hundreds of employees during his decades-long career in retail, logistics, sales and wholesale operations.

Originally from Flushing, Queens, Finnegan attended St John’s University and Iona College. Drawing from his vast, comprehensive business expertise, Finnegan will oversee operations at Makers Nutrition on several fronts.

“That includes the hiring of the next generation sales team and the implementation of a cutting edge, accountability-based management system to strengthen the company and its culture for our successful times ahead,” says Finnegan. “I’ll also be working with the current sales staff to help them establish and achieve clear goals.”

Makers Nutrition is expanding its operations into a second building near their Hauppauge location, and Finnegan will be involved in the final completion of this new space, including overseeing the layout, furnishing, installation of warehousing equipment and security systems, and so forth.

“My goal is to help Makers Nutrition become a more focused organization,” says Finnegan, “one that can grow safely, strongly and quickly into a successful large company.”
