Special presentations by representatives of the Federal Home Loan Bank and Housing Opportunities of Beaver County will provide information about available grants. Mars National Bank will also provide a First Time Homebuyer Kit to each participant at the event. “This event will teach people the available financing options, and also some pitfalls to avoid as they pursue their first home,” said Shawn Proper, Mars National Bank Senior Vice President, Mortgage and Consumer Lending. “That alone makes the event valuable, but learning about available grants towards down payment means everyone considering a first home should attend this event.”
The event is part of Mars National Bank’s effort to help educate the community about issues related to finances including loans and mortgages.
