Ms. McAlpine has 20 years experience in the education field. She is the Founder and CEO of Tamah, LLC, which is an educational service providing community-based intervention services to at-risk, disadvantaged or disabled students and their families in Washington, D.C. She oversees the daily operations of the company and manages 155 employees who travel to local schools to work with children with disabilities. Ms. McAlpine developed a comprehensive set of services, strategies, and levels of support to address the unique needs of students with developmental and other educational disabilities. She serves in a leadership role within the community in change management for vulnerable students and their families. She is affiliated with the N.C.A.C.C.

Born on July 21, 1953 in Atlantic City, New Jersey, Ms. McAlpine obtained a D.Div. from CICA International University and Seminary in 2016. In her spare time she enjoys collecting pens and tennis shoes.
