Springfield, MA, September 12, 2017 --(PR.com)-- NACCE & ELI to Offer Entrepreneurial Mindset Training.

The National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship (NACCE), the nation’s leading organization focused on promoting entrepreneurship through community colleges, and the Entrepreneurial Learning Initiative (ELI), have announced a partnership to provide a public Entrepreneurial Mindset Certification program focused on igniting an entrepreneurial mindset and cultivating an entrepreneurial culture in classrooms, organizations and communities throughout the world.

"An entrepreneurial mindset advances leader effectiveness, student success, and workforce development outcomes," said NACCE President and CEO Rebecca Corbin, Ed.D. “NACCE is proud to partner with ELI to help spread the entrepreneurial mindset to our innovative group of community college members.”

Beyond Traditional Business Creation
“The power of entrepreneurial thinking reaches far beyond traditional business creation,” said Gary Schoeniger, author and internationally recognized thought leader in entrepreneurial education. Schoeniger is the founder of the ELI and co-author of "Who Owns the Ice House? Eight Life Lessons from an Unlikely Entrepreneur," a powerful story that captures the essence of an entrepreneurial mindset and the unlimited opportunities it can provide. “An entrepreneurial mindset shifts everyday thinking into a new framework, empowering people to identify problems and deploy solutions using creative and critical thinking, effective problem solving, communication, and teamwork. An entrepreneurial mindset exposes opportunity, ignites ambition, and fosters innovation.”

In addition to Entrepreneurial Mindset Certification Training, successful completion of the training certifies participants to facilitate the Ice House Entrepreneurship Programs in their classroom, organization or community. The training is designed to equip facilitators with the necessary tools and techniques to effectively implement the Ice House programs, which target student success, leadership, workforce development, and small business.

Ice House Programs are experiential, problem-based learning programs designed to inspire and engage participants in the fundamental aspects of an entrepreneurial mindset. The next training will take place October 6-8, 2017 at Hillsborough Community College (HCC) in Tampa Florida. The event is organized by ELI and hosted by NACCE and HCC. Registration to open all sectors, including public, private and non-profit. For more information, email info@elimindset.com.
