New York, NY, January 10, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Josh Aaron, BTP’s President, said, “We are thrilled to have Michael on board and very excited to combine forces with a fast-growing and high-quality technology firm serving northern New Jersey, enabling our expansion into a highly profitable business area with many design firms, architects, engineers, legal, financial, pharmaceutical and health science companies that all fit in well with BTP’s established client base.” BTP will also benefit from RCS’s partnership with Datto, a backup services provider.

Achey founded RCS in 2009 when he saw a need for proactive service that served clients better than the traditional break-fix model of technical service. RCS offers networking monitoring and maintenance as well as consulting services such as procurement assistance, network infrastructure planning, and training services to middle market clients.

When considering the merger opportunity, Achey saw BTP’s business model as compelling, specifically citing the company’s high degree of organization and well-documented procedures. These factors, along with BTP’s positive work culture and capable salesforce, lay a strong foundation for growth.

Said Achey, “It is an honor to be welcomed into BTP as a key member of their exceptional team. We anticipate that this business combination will provide deep value for our clients in a multitude of ways.”

The company serves small businesses through its Netfox division, and this entity will form a strategic alliance with BTP as part of the merger. BTP and Netfox have been working together for over 6 years as partners in providing technical support and also on projects such as build outs, construction projects, email migrations, and wireless rollouts.

This combination offers BTP additional bench strength in terms of staff and allows the firm to expand its footprint into Brooklyn, Queens, Connecticut, and Long Island. Based out of Whitestone, Queens, NetFox has a team of 5 technicians who are specialized in technical support, design build implementation, low voltage cabling, structured cabling, network design, firewall, and security design.
