Army and Air Force Scorpion OCP Uniform Commercially Available at TacticalGear.com

TacticalGear.com is the first retailer to offer the new uniform in Scorpion OCP.

Chesterfield, MO, September 04, 2018 --(PR.com)-- The operational camouflage pattern in use by the U.S. Army and Air Force, also referred to as Scorpion OCP, is now available for commercial sale.

The government granted a commercial license to help with the increased demand for uniforms and accessories, such as combat shirts and helmet covers, in the approved pattern.

Retailer TacticalGear.com is offering the approved uniform on pre-order with an expected delivery date of late October. This is the first time the OCP uniform will be available anywhere other than through government issue or AAFES.

“We have inquiries for OCP from soldiers and airmen daily,” says Andrew Hoefener, CEO of TacticalGear.com. “Having uniforms and essential equipment in the approved pattern available for sale is crucial to serving our military customers.”

The Army’s mandatory possession date for OCP is approaching on October 1, 2019, adding to the need for new manufacturers of the pattern.
