Hollywood, FL, December 24, 2018 --(PR.com)-- AD1 Global recently announced the purchase of five hotels: the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Atlanta North Druid Hills - Emory Area, the Hampton Inn Atlanta - North Druid Hills, the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Orlando Lake Buena Vista, the Fairfield Inn by Marriott Orlando Airport, and the Courtyard by Marriott Charlotte Gastonia.

This is the first multi-property portfolio acquisition for the fast-growing company, who’s finishing the year with 10 new acquisitions. With these additions, the company’s portfolio now boasts 20 hotels, which is twice the amount they had in 2017.

“We believe it’s better to diversify among our core properties - which are 3- to 4-star hotels with an average of $120,000 per key - than to buy a single high-value asset for the same total investment,” said CEO Daniel Berman.

All five hotels are strategically located across the southeastern United States, with two hotels in Florida, two hotels in Georgia and one in North Carolina.

The 170-room Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Orlando Lake Buena Vista is half a mile away from Walt Disney World Resort, 4.9 miles from the Orlando Orange County Convention Center, and 6.8 miles from Universal Orlando Resort. The other Florida property, the 139-room Fairfield Inn by Marriott Orlando Airport is conveniently located just 2 miles from Orlando International Airport, the second busiest airport in Florida.

The two Georgia hotels, the 209-room DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Atlanta North Druid Hills - Emory Area and the 111-room Hampton Inn Atlanta - North Druid Hills are located in Atlanta on North Druid Hills Road NE near Interstate 85. The area has strong medical, corporate, and educational demand, with a 10-million square-foot Class A office space just 3 miles away. It’s also close to the Buckhead market and Decatur, which is home to the Center for Disease Control, Emory University, and Emory Hospital.

The 130-room Courtyard by Marriott Charlotte Gastonia is located in eastern Charlotte, with easy access to Downtown Charlotte and Charlotte Douglas International Airport, making it a prime location for those traveling on business.

“These five hotels are incredible assets,” said Berman. “They are located in 3 major U.S. cities and are surrounded by many demand-generating businesses and chains. This is the first of many portfolios to come.”

The company had a very successful year and plans to keep the momentum going in 2019. The company unveiled their first new construction hotel, the Wyndham Garden Fort Lauderdale Airport and Cruise Port Hotel earlier this year and they also have several large-scale hotel developments slated for 2019-2020 in Orlando (FL), Palm Bay (FL), and Tamarac (FL), all of which are partially funded by EB-5 investments.

"The EB-5 program has been an important source of funding for us," said Berman. “It’s a win-win for everyone.”
