Atlanta’s KaZee Receives Certification from Health & Human Services Agency

Product Aids in Helping Hospitals and Physicians Meet Government’s Goal to Efficiently Use Technology

Atlanta, GA, April 25, 2019 --(PR.com)-- KaZee, Inc. announced that its flagship health care product – PEARL® V8.0 Health IT Module – has received ONC certification from the federal government.

The company’s PEARL® V8.0 Health IT Module has been certified for ONC 2015 by SLI Compliance, an ONC-ACB in accordance with the applicable certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.

PEARL® V8.0 ONC Compliant Certified date of January 15, 2019 with Certification Identification Number 15.05.05.1757.KAZE.01.00.0.190115. This certification is in addition to the previous ONC 2014 certification for PEARL® V7.0.

The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) is required by statute to perform certain duties in a manner consistent with the development of a nationwide health information technology (health IT or HIT) infrastructure that, among other things, allows for the electronic use and exchange of information. ONC is required under section 3001©(5) of the Public Health Service Act (PHSA), in consultation with the Director of the National Institute of Standards and Technology, to keep or recognize a program or programs for the voluntary certification of health IT as being in compliance with applicable certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services (the Secretary) under section 3004 of the PHSA.

This certification does not represent an endorsement by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The ONC Health IT Certification Program is a voluntary certification program established by ONC to provide for the certification of health IT to the standards, implementation specifications, and certification criteria adopted by the Secretary. The ONC Health IT Certification Program supports the availability of certified health IT for its encouraged and required use under other federal, state, and private programs.

The additional software relied upon to demonstrate KaZee’s compliance with a certification criterion or criteria adopted by the Secretary includes MS .NET Framework 3.5, Cryptographic Service Provider, First Databank.
