Pass-a-Fist: New Party Game Launches on Kickstarter
Boise, ID, July 09, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Pass-a-Fist is a fast-paced, chaotic new card game that emulates all the fun of a cartoon-style brawl, without any real physical injuries. After gaining a cult following over the last four years, the game is launching on Kickstarter Tuesday, July 9th.

The premise is simple: play cards to attack other players in the game, while avoiding attacks yourself. Players unlucky enough to be on the receiving end of an attack must draw injury cards. If you end up with three injuries, you’re out of the game.

“The gameplay makes for some hilarious scenarios,” commented co-creator, Russ Worstell. “It’s great to see people laugh each turn.”

Co-creators Gary Welch and Russ Worstell make up Lonely Lemming, LLC - a game design company they started specifically for this project. Over the course of four years, they've dedicated an excessive amount of effort into Pass-a-Fist.

“We’ve put a lot of hard work into this. We’ve painstakingly gone through each card to make it funny, and to make sure it plays well in the game,” says co-creator Gary Welch.

The effort shows, too. The game consists of 162 unique cards, with no duplicates. From cards like “Literally Killer Dance Moves,” to “Go Completely Limp” - there’s no lack of absurd hypothetical fight moves to be found.

“It was so important to us to make a game that you don’t want to put down,” added Worstell.

Pass-a-Fist has been very well received everywhere, too. At local gaming events, several different groups can be found playing back-to-back games. From kids to college students, to grandparents - it turns out everyone likes to pretend fight if it results in some good laughs.

“A lot of times, party games are centered around adults or teenagers,” said Sean Wainwright, owner of Phoenix Fire Games. “My young girls love the game. Wholeheartedly.”

The creators launched their Kickstarter campaign on Tuesday, July 9th. They’re looking to raise $7,000 to get the game manufactured, and aiming to have pledges out to backers before Christmas. The campaign kicks off with a launch party at Boise Brewing on Tuesday night. The creators will also be running demos of the game at this year’s Gem State Gaming Convention between July 12-14th.
